There are herbal medicine that can cure anything but the Medical Corp, dont want people to know about them. Its all about money, the government makes money from taxing the companys that make drugs to “cure” the ilness for a little time, so you will be back for more.

What your point and what kind of answer are you looking for. Herbal medcine is good and work for some and one has to be careful if taking medicine from their doctor that’s all.

i can tell you are very knowledgeable.
so you can educate the people on here.
they really do not know that lots of things
    are carcinogens. they need education,
i don’t think they need condemnation.
obviously there are many herbal medicines
that have inconclusive results and effects.
just like conventional medicines have inconclusive
results and effects. i hope you will use your knowledge
to educate the ignorant rather than judge the ignorant.

i agree with you, all meds have side effects. i used herbs while going through chemo to boost my immune system and breezed through it. i worked with my doctor on this. i was lucky. i had a doctor with an open mind.

Good point. There is chlorine in tap water, and that can do some serious damage to the prostate gland. Its not the “use” of medicaments that are dangerous, it is the “ABUSE” of them that becomes dangerous. As long as you have what is referred to as “pharmaceutical grade” herbs you should get a proper dose. You should discuss taking any herbs with your doctor if you are taking any prescription medications because they can interact with them. An excellent book on herbal medicines is the Physician’s Desk Reference Guide to Herbal Medicines. I’m not sure if that is the exact title, but its close. When used properly, herbs are extremely useful in helping with a person’s health. Be wise about their use, pay attention to any news on them, and if you are taking any prescription drugs be sure they will have no harmful effects if they interact with the prescriptions.

To the poster above that says that there are herbs that can cure all illnesses, sorry, but that is not true. There is no herb that will repair a severed spinal column, there are no herbs that can treat astroglioma, etc. Herbs can help a great deal, but to say that can heal “anything” is false. I do not work for a drug company, and I do not own stock in any – I just know that if you are going to make statements like that you need to go to medical school to back it up. If I was an actual physician I would definitely recommend certain foods and herbs to certain patients as it would be part of the healing process. St. John’s Wort was believed to help in depression but the studies in now say that it may be harmful for that, but have benefits for other illnesses. Keep your eyes on the news – knowledge changes over time, and the drug companies don’t control that (although sometimes they might try to!).
