I need something natural and healthy as well as safe, something that doesn’t contain ginger (makes me jittery, and sick to my stomach).I’m genrerally very emotionally reactive and lately I’ve been encountering more and more stress and tension than usual. Thanks!

Beer with a bay leaf floating in it.
Valerian root is a very effective and safe sedative for short term use. It’s available even at your local drug store in the vitamin section. And no ginger!

I was looking for the same thing, I find that lavendar helps. I also looked through the teas at the grocery store and found a Celestial Seasonings one for “sleepytime”. It doesn’t make me sleep per se, but it IS calming. I can’t remember if that’s the exact name, but it contains “tilia flower” as a calming agent. And no caffiene, of course
Well you should go to this website
i love that store! they have the best tea ever!
i enjoy chamomile tea because it calms my stomach
and is good for you
Honeybush Vanilla Herbal Tea is very good too
Chamomile tea is a relaxing tea and has a nice taste to it mix it with a bit of honey if its a bitter for you.
5-HTP
L-Tyrosine
These are both natural chemicals found in your brain. However, during times of stress, they can be imbalanced. Once getting them back to normal levels, however, they can combat the stress you’re expiriencing.
I beleive that you can purchase these at a health food store. They’re miracle supplements, atleast for me! And no side-effects either
